Tri Area Driving School was
started in 1999 because there was a need for comprehensive
training in automobiles and trucks. Because of a shortage of professional truck
drivers, we integrated a job placement service for the
graduates of our truck driving school. Because learning good
driving skills is not just for teenagers first starting out,
we include drivers training programs for any adult,
regardless of what type of vehicle he/she wants to drive.
Our mission is to provide complete training in all aspects
of driving, whether a student needs to learn new driving skills or
just sharpen their abilities behind the wheel. The advantage to our students
is that they can draw on the expertise of driving instructors
knowledgeable in all vehicles, such as trucks, buses,
and the different kinds of cars that are on
today's roads.
Our school is approved by
Michigan Works's
Career
Education Consumer Report and we are one of the few schools
approved by the Veteran's Administration for funding with
the Montgomery GI Bill as well as Chapter 33 and Chapter 35
funding.
Our instructors are
certified with the Michigan Department of State, Drivers
Education Section. Drivers Education instructors are members
of MDTSEA (Michigan Drivers Training Safety Education
Association). Motorcycle instructors are approved by MSF
(Motorcycle Safety Foundation). Truck driving instructors
are graduates of a state approved truck driving course as
well as having years of real-world driving experience.
We are centrally located in
the Tri-Cities area and have locations in both Freeland, MI
and Hastings, MI so any Michigan resident that wants to
get into one of our training programs should
contact us to
see how to get started.
