Recent graduates of Tri Area Driving School
should realize that it is important to go to work as soon as
possible. Trucking companies expect either recent training or recent
truck driving experience. If you get your Commercial Drivers License
(CDL) and then wait for the right job to come along, you might find
that after a time no company will hire you.
Treat truck driving like any other career. Get
a job, gain experience, and then better opportunities will present
themselves. Many drivers that take even a job that they don't like
find themselves open to job prospects that they couldn't have
imagined in as little as 6 months.
If you paid for your training, don't waste
it! If you were funded by an outside source, don't make it
harder for someone else to get the same opportunity! The
trucking industry has many jobs for anyone that wants to make truck
driving a career. With only 3 weeks training, you can make $80,000 a
year, but only if you go to work!
Tri Area Driving School offers lifetime job
placement, and we have resources for graduates to apply for jobs
both by applications and online. However, we do not want any
graduate to leave our school without having some job opportunity. |
